The Rourkela One project is a Signature Project under construction for the Rourkela Smart City. The project comprises of Three Buildings namely the Command Control Center of Rourkela Municipal Corporation Smart City, The Tribal Museum and the City Auditorium and Convention Center. The Command Control Center of Rourkela Smart City Building shall provide a place to store all the Information in one Building regarding the Movement and Management of Security, Traffic, Management, Emergency Arrangements, Emergency Disaster and existing control room of Rourkela Municipal Corporation.

Tribal Museum will be the main attraction. In the Museum, items related to Tribal Culture and Tribal Heritage of Odisha will be kept. The Hockey Hall of Fame will also be developed at the museum site.

City Auditorium and Convention Center. In this building there will be an Auditorium with a capacity of about 1500 people with a round stage. The auditorium will have both video as well as live performance facilities. To make the auditorium world class, provision of requisite stage, backdrop changing room, arrangement of curtains, video screen, projector, stage lighting, acoustic treatment etc. is also being made.
