Patna, the capital city of Bihar, is one of the fastest-growing cities in India. In order to ease the traffic congestion, the Patna Smart City Development Corporation Limited (PSCDCL) has proposed the development of a Multi-Modal Hub in Patna.

The proposed Multi-Modal Hub will be a comprehensive transportation facility that will serve as a hub for bus terminal, interconnectivity to Patna Railway Station, car parking, and auto parking. This hub will provide seamless connectivity and reduce travel time for the residents of Patna.

The proposed Multi-Modal Hub will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and technology to streamline the movement of buses, cars, and autos. The bus terminal will have designated parking spaces for buses and will be equipped with electronic ticketing systems and real-time bus tracking facilities. This will make it easier for commuters to board and alight from buses and reduce waiting time.

The interconnectivity to Patna Railway Station will be through a dedicated shuttle service, which will be available at regular intervals. This will provide a seamless and hassle-free travel experience for passengers who need to catch a train.

The Multi-Modal Hub will also have dedicated car and auto parking areas. This will reduce the number of vehicles parked on the streets, which is a major contributor to traffic congestion. The car parking area will have a capacity of around 250 vehicles, while the auto parking area will have a capacity of around 100 autos.

The proposed Multi-Modal Hub will have a positive impact on traffic congestion in the area.
