Maa Shakumbhari University (MSU) is a State University established under the Uttar Pradesh State Universities Act, 2019, with the vision of strengthening higher education across Western Uttar Pradesh. Developed by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh, the university has been envisioned as a modern academic institution that promotes excellence in education, research, innovation, and holistic student development. Located near the Government Degree College campus at Punwarka, Saharanpur, the campus is being developed over approximately 50 acres with an estimated project cost of INR 100 Crore, creating a future-ready educational environment for generations to come.
