New OIL Hospital in Duliajan, Assam

Project Facts

The New OIL Hospital in Duliajan, Assam, is envisioned as a state-of-the-art healthcare campus that merges clinical efficiency with healing-centric design. Rooted in modular planning and future-readiness, the hospital layout ensures clear zoning of OPD, IPD, emergency, diagnostics, and critical care, all within a compact G+3 structure. Thoughtful circulation paths segregate public, staff, service, and emergency movements—minimizing cross-traffic and infection risks. The master plan prioritizes patient experience through intuitive wayfinding, universal accessibility, and climate-responsive orientation, with radiodiagnostics and OPD zones facing north for optimal daylight and thermal comfort. Beyond clinical functionality, the design integrates environmental sensitivity and wellness-focused open spaces. Lush courtyards, tree-lined buffers, rainwater harvesting systems, and an on-site STP contribute to both sustainability and recovery-oriented surroundings. Essential infrastructure such as the AC plant, ESS, BMW facility, and oxygen plant are discreetly zoned along the periphery to maintain a calm central campus. With dedicated zones for future expansion and compliance with NABH, MoHFW, and NBC 2016 guidelines, the OIL Hospital sets a benchmark in modern healthcare infrastructure—designed for today and prepared for tomorrow.
