The Department of Home, Government of Uttar Pradesh, intends to construct a new prison complex in Amethi to accommodate 990 inmates. The new facility will be designed to meet the highest standards of safety and security, while providing a modern and humane environment for the rehabilitation of inmates. The project will be carried out in accordance with the guidelines and specifications of the Indian Prison Act and Rules.

Project Objectives:

· To construct a new prison complex in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, that can accommodate 990 inmates.

· To ensure that the new facility meets the highest standards of safety, security, and hygiene.

· To provide a modern and humane environment for the rehabilitation of inmates.

· To ensure that the new facility complies with the Indian Prison Act and Rules.

· To complete the project within the stipulated time frame and budget.

Site preparation and development, including leveling of land, construction of boundary walls, and installation of utilities.

Design and construction of various buildings, including cell blocks, administrative offices, medical facilities, kitchen, dining hall, and staff quarters.

Installation of security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.

Provision of water supply, sanitation, and electrical systems.

Landscaping and beautification of the surrounding area.

The new prison complex in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, will be a modern and humane facility designed to meet the highest standards of safety, security, and hygiene. The project will be carried out in accordance with the guidelines and specifications of the Indian Prison Act and Rules. The project is expected to be completed within 18 months from the date of commencement of work, and the estimated budget for the project is INR 200 crores.
