The National Institute of Technology, Rourkela project was awarded to ARCH-EN DESIGN through a national competition for development works of Phase 1 and Phase 2.
National Institute of Technology, Rourkela one of the premier institutes of the country in the field of offering technical education had plans to develop sizeable academic and residential infrastructure for the students and faculty to meet the requirements of enhanced intake in the last few years.
In the process a land pocket measuring about 50 acres was assigned for developing a number of academic buildings as a new hub which also had to come as an integrated facility with the existing set-up is such a way that both students and staff have easy access and connectivity between the existing and new development. The planning was done for about 150 senior faculty residences, two large lecture hall complexes and academic buildings which have been executed in parts.
The project has been awarded GRIHA 4 Star rating.
