High-rise homes for central government employees in Bhopal: 3- and 4-bedroom flats in towers over a podium of shops, with a clubhouse, pool and landscaped court, for the Central Government Employees Welfare Housing Organisation.

About the project

The Central Government Employees Welfare Housing Organisation (CGEWHO), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, builds housing schemes for central government employees across India. In March 2026 it appointed ARCH-EN DESIGN as Architect cum Project Management Consultant for its new housing project at Bhopal, estimated at ₹177 crore.

Towers over a podium

The flats are 3- and 4-bedroom homes, grouped in clusters around shared lift cores in towers that rise from a podium. Along the main road the podium holds a row of shops; behind it are the entrances, parking and services, with basement parking for more than 500 cars. The towers are finished in warm stone tones, with deep balconies and recessed glazed slots that break up their height.

A garden at the centre

Inside the site the buildings wrap a landscaped court with lawns, seating, a swimming pool and children's play, beside a two-storey clubhouse.
