Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Government Medical College in Churu, Rajasthan, occupies a 25-acre Campus designed and delivered for HSCL in 2019. The plan sets out to connect teaching, administration, Laboratories and student life, so that people move easily between them and work together.
Planning for climate and movement
Circulation is intended to be intuitive, and open spaces are organised between the buildings. The design responds to the climate: buildings are oriented for daylight and built in durable materials.
Places to learn
The College includes spacious lecture theatres, Laboratories, faculty rooms, learning resources and student amenities. It trains medical professionals for the region, within a Campus built to serve Healthcare education over the long term.
