A private multi-speciality hospital at a road junction in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, its glazed corner block turning to face both roads.
About the project
Mayo Medical Centre is a private multi-speciality hospital in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, designed by ARCH-EN DESIGN on a corner plot where two roads meet.
A corner that faces both ways
The building turns the corner with a tall glazed block that holds the entrance and public spaces, flanked by wings of wards with deep-set windows framed in brown. Rounded bays soften the ends of the wings, and the whole is finished in white, so that the hospital reads as clean and calm from both streets.
