A regional Headquarters for the National Investigation Agency in Lucknow, bringing offices and residences onto a compact 2-acre urban site behind a formal, balanced front with a prominent central entrance.
About the project
The regional Headquarters of the National Investigation Agency in Lucknow brings the agency's regional offices and residential premises together on a compact urban site of about 2 acres. It was developed for NBCC.
A formal front
The design uses a formal vocabulary of clean geometry, vertical glazing and a balanced façade. A prominent central entrance anchors the front elevation and gives a clear sense of arrival. The mass is composed of solid surfaces and large glazed panels, so the building reads as both solid and open, with a dignified, contemporary character.
Behind the front, the plan is organised for secure operations and easy circulation, within a clearly defined Campus setting.
The premises were inaugurated on 20 August 2017. ARCH-EN DESIGN was Architectural and Engineering consultant.
