About the project
The Ministry of Home Affairs set up the 201 and 204 CoBRA Battalions of the CRPF at Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, on 311 acres of forest-like, contoured land. The Campus is organised from a single entrance near the middle of the site.
From the entrance, a dual carriageway with a planted central median runs into the site. Roads turn left towards the barracks and the subordinate officers' mess, built as semi-permanent structures. To the right lie the family quarters for officers and subordinate personnel, the gazetted officers' mess, a Hospital, a primary School, a swimming pool, a shopping complex and a gymnasium, so that the daily life of families gathers on its own side of the Campus.
