A transport interchange in Patna beside a major road junction, bringing a bus terminal, car and auto parking and a shuttle link to Patna Railway Station onto one 4-acre site.

About the project

Patna's Multi-Modal Hub gathers the city's bus, car and auto traffic onto one 4-acre site beside a major road junction. Built for Patna Smart City, it was inaugurated on 17 May 2025. The idea is simple: give every vehicle a proper place off the street, and make the change from one mode to another short and clear.

The bus terminal has 32 bays, with electronic ticketing and real-time tracking to shorten waits. Parking holds 380 cars and around 100 autos, taking vehicles off the surrounding streets. A dedicated shuttle runs at regular intervals to Patna Railway Station, so that rail passengers can reach their trains without facing the traffic.

The hub is planned as a green Campus. ARCH-EN DESIGN was the Architectural and Engineering consultant.
