The HQ Stamp and Registration Bhawan is the proposed Headquarters of the Stamp and Registration Department in Lucknow. It stands on Shaheed Path, one of the city's main roads, on a site of about 5 acres. The location makes it easy to see and easy to reach, with good links to major transport routes for staff and visitors alike.
Offices and an Auditorium
The building combines contemporary office space, planned around the department's working needs, with an Auditorium. The Auditorium gives the department its own venue for seminars, conferences and official events, a room where staff and visitors can gather to share knowledge.
Clean lines, lighter footprint
The design favours clean lines and an efficient use of space. Energy-efficient elements and sustainable features are built into the façade and the building, with the aim of a lighter environmental footprint.
Lucknow is growing as a centre of administration, and on one of its busiest roads the intent is practical: to give the department a clear, efficient home, and to make its public services easier to use for the people who come to it.
