The Headquarters of the Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority stands on a 1-acre site in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. The building is meant to express openness in the way real estate is governed, and its section follows that idea. The ground floor is the public interface, where people arrive and are received. Offices, conference and meeting rooms and training facilities fill the floors above, giving staff and the sector's stakeholders a single centre.
The structure is designed to resist earthquakes. Rainwater harvesting, solar panels and energy-efficient lighting reduce the building's demand for water and power.
