newly constructed Income Tax Office in
Bhopal has been officially awarded the GRIHA-5 Star rating, marking it as one of the most sustainable
government office buildings in India.
Developed by the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) on a 4-acre site with a project outlay of ₹70 Crores, the facility was envisioned to combine administrative efficiency with environmental responsibility. Located close to the existing Ayakar Bhawan, the new office enhances accessibility for taxpayers while providing a state-of-the-art workplace for officials.
