The ISPAT Super Specialty Hospital at Rourkela, initiated by the Ministry of Steel for the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), represents a significant advancement in regional healthcare infrastructure. It brings together critical departments such as Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Nephrology, supported by high-end diagnostic systems, endoscopy facilities, and a well-organized administrative and support framework including a centralized sterile services department (CSSD).
