About the project
Anuppur, on the border of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, became a district in 2003 and needed a district hospital of its own. The 200-bed government district hospital has a built-up area of about 18,000 square metres and has been completed.
The building
The hospital is a three-storey block faced in cream and sand, with a projecting entrance bay and deep window reveals that shade the wards.
