New academic blocks and Hostels that take the Shyam Shah Government Medical College at Rewa from 100 to 250 admissions a year, fitted into the existing Campus.

About the project

The upgradation takes Shyam Shah Government Medical College at Rewa from 100 to 250 admissions a year, under the norms of the National Medical Commission. Designed for the Madhya Pradesh PWD, it adds about 30,000 m² of building to the 50-acre Campus, at a cost of ₹280 crore.

Growing within the Campus

The new buildings are placed in the open ground of the existing Campus, beside the Hospital and the older College blocks, so that the College grows without moving to a new site. There are two academic blocks and Hostels for undergraduate and intern students, men and women. The Hostels are long blocks of five floors, finished in white with bands of pink and grey.
